Providing excellence since 1964
Founded in 1964 by Charles and Tessie Galea, Rotunda Pharmacy has a rich history steeped in dedication and family values. Tessie, his wife, joined the pharmacy four years prior to its acquisition, laying the foundation for their enduring legacy. For half a century, Tessie served as the Managing Pharmacist, shaping the pharmacy's ethos of excellence and care. Alongside her, Charles managed the pharmacy alongside Rotunda Stores until 1993, when their son assumed the role of Managing Director. Since then, the pharmacy has remained in the capable hands of Charles and Tessie's children, continuing the family tradition with the same ethos and drive. With a commitment to preserving the warm, familial atmosphere, Rotunda Pharmacy remains a beacon of community-focused healthcare.

Abigail Dimech has been part of our team for the past three years. Engaging in pricing tasks, she finds a unique opportunity to expand her knowledge about medicines and various medical conditions. Abigail also appreciates the camaraderie among the staff, noting their friendliness and support. As she builds rapport with clients over time, she delights in the growing warmth and familiarity of their interactions.

Gabrielle Giardina
Gabbie, an esteemed director at Rotunda Pharmacy, boasts a rich history with our establishment. Beginning her journey at the age of 16, she later pursued entrepreneurial ventures. However, amidst the challenges brought by COVID-19 in 2020, Gabbie gracefully returned to support our pharmacy during difficult times. Her unwavering dedication to our community and patients shines through in all her endeavors.

Armand Galea
​Armand Galea's journey at Rotunda began at the age of 17, working alongside his father. Under his mentorship, Armand honed invaluable skills and gained insight into running a successful business. In 1993, he assumed the role of Managing Director, a position he has proudly held for 31 years. Armand's passion for business and sales, coupled with his genuine enjoyment of interacting with people, fuels his dedication to Rotunda.

Glorianne's journey with Rotunda Pharmacy began in her teenage years, as she dedicated her summer holidays to serving the community from the age of 16. At 21, she embarked on a career in aviation, soaring into new horizons. Despite her physical absence, Glorianne's spirit remains intertwined with the pharmacy's legacy, always keen to contribute to major decisions. She takes immense pride in the enduring legacy her parents crafted, tirelessly shaping Rotunda Pharmacy into the esteemed establishment it is today
